The path

From 2018 to 2023 at Polytech Grenoble, the engineering school of Grenoble INP and Université Grenoble Alpes. Five years in two stages: two years of integrated preparatory classes, then three years of engineering cycle.

Timeline from 2018 to 2023: the PeiP preparatory cycle from 2018 to 2020, the IESE engineering cycle from 2020 to 2023, the Linköping exchange in late 2022, the Deep Red internship in 2023, and the French Robotics Cup with Polybot in 2021 and 2022.

Integrated preparatory cycle, mathematics and computer science (2018 – 2020)

The Polytech preparatory cycle (PeiP): two years of foundations in mathematics and computer science, leading into the engineering cycle without a competitive entrance exam.

Engineering cycle, Computer Science and Embedded Electronics (2020 – 2023)

The IESE track trains systems integrators, at the crossroads of computer science, electronics, control and signal processing. It teaches how to design complete embedded systems, from software to hardware, under real-time, power and communication constraints.

The final year was split between an exchange semester at Linköping University, in Sweden, to specialise in artificial intelligence, and a six-month final internship on object detection in infrared imagery.

Polybot Grenoble

Alongside my studies, I was a member of Polybot Grenoble, the robotics club, which builds autonomous robots for the French Robotics Cup run by Planète Sciences. Two teams face each other on a 2 × 3 m table, and their robots have 100 seconds to score as many points as possible by completing missions. The rules change completely every year.

I took part in the 2021 edition, on the seafaring theme “Sail the World”, and in 2022, “Age of Bots”, on archaeology, where robots explored dig sites in search of treasures.
